Main Responsibilities
  • Undertook comprehensive audits of the Management of Change (MOC) processes to verify compliance with OSHA 1910.119, applicable Quality Management Systems (QMS) standards, and ISO standards for Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSMS).
  • Facilitated third-party audits and efficiently managed audit schedules to ensure the continuity of operations.
  • Oversaw the management of master data for more than 17,000 pieces of equipment, leading to enhanced process efficiency.
  • Provided proactive recommendations to improve MOC practices and SAP Master Data management.
  • Led training sessions on MOC best practices and updated relevant procedures.

Challenge
Management of Change (MOC) administration plays a crucial role in ensuring proper handling and documentation of all equipment and process modifications, encompassing:
  • Design Alterations,

  • End of Job Documentation,
  • Pre-safety Startup Reviews,
  • Authorization for Commissioning, and
  • Various Sasol systems utilized for planning and executing daily maintenance activities within the Business Unit.

  • Providing proactive recommendations concerning the Management of Change processes and procedures, SAP Master Data, and Maintenance Strategies
  • Conducting internal audits for Management of Change.
  • Offering recommendations on audit findings and processes as necessary.
